Swindon Shikukai opened its doors in May, 2023 with a mission to bring fun, affordable Martial Arts training to the community in North Swindon. Swindon Shikukai teaches a traditional Japanese form of Karate and is a member of Shikukai Karate-Do International under the Chief instruction of Sugasawa Sensei.
We run relaxed, friendly Karate classes from the Haydon Leisure Centre. Currently, the club offers adults-only training on Tuesday evenings, from 19:30 to 21:00.
Why choose Swindon Shikukai?
At Swindon Shikukai, we offer small class sizes which ensure you’ll receive lots of 1-to-1 attention from our instructors, helping you to make excellent progress in a short space of time. All of our instructors are knowledgeable and experienced, giving you peace of mind that you’re in safe hands when you train.
Our instructors teach for the joy of teaching and their love of this Martial Art – you won’t pay expensive fees as we only charge what’s necessary to cover the cost of running the club.
If you’re looking for a fun, affordable way to keep fit and learn new skills, come and check out what we do!
